Our first big goal: the Tahoe Environmental Research Center (TERC) needs a commercial-grade Mysis net to conduct pilot research trawls.
This commercial grade Mysis net will allow TERC to assess two critical data points required for ecosystem restoration:
How effectively can a commercial grade net remove Mysis?
How much by-catch is there, and what’s the best way to minimize by-catch?

*As a newly formed 501c3 organization, we are currently awaiting IRS approval of our tax-exempt status. Once approved, all donations are retroactively tax-deductible. We hope to have our approval by the end of 2021 or early 2022!
